I am in the final months of my midwifery education in Toronto at The Midwives Clinic East York Don Mills. I will be graduating and registering as a midwife in summer of 2023.
During my training in Toronto, I have had the opportunity to provide support to a vastly diverse range of individuals throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journeys. Making midwifery accessible to all pregnant people is a key goal of mine, particularly for those who may face barriers to accessing safe and consistent prenatal care.
In addition to my passion for midwifery, I love the outdoors and backpacking through the mountains. Camping and exploring remote areas brings me a sense of peace and grounding that makes me a better care provider.
I was born and raised in rural Alberta and I’ve always known that I wanted to return home to practice midwifery. I’m passionate about this career path and am excited to use my skills and expertise to support families throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences.
